DSF Focus • Climate Change • Global warming is a serious problem, and we’re working to decrease carbon emissions in Canada • Health • Environmental hazards can cause health problems, which is why we work to prevent pollutants and toxics from entering our bodies and our environment • Oceans • The deep blue sea is not easy to see from above, the impacts effect industrial fishing, pollution and climate change, we are working to ensure our oceans are well managed and protected • Wildlife & Habitat • Natural systems provide us with a wide range of services, we work to make sure out country and our planet maintain and restore the natural balance that all life needs to survive. • Freshwater • We are working to protect natural water ecosystems as a key strategy to maintain water availability and preserve biodiversity in Canada
