  4. 1.9 million houses have been damaged or destroyed

  5. And 2.4 million hectares of agricultural land has been damaged.

  6. CRWRC is there – working through a local Christian partner, I-LAP.

  7. Through Canadian Foodgrains Bank partnership, CRWRC has provided $2.5 million in food assistance.

  8. Enough for 64,000 people in Kybher Pakthunkwa province and

  9. 44,000 people in Rahim Yar Khan region of Southern Punjab.

  10. CRWRC has also provided: 8,065 hygiene kits, mosquito nets, and kitchen kits;

  11. 8,000 water cans and daily delivery of fresh water to 500 households for 2 months; Photo courtesy of I-LAP

  12. 4,825 tents, 6,000 blankets, 100 tool kits and 7,915 gas cylinders (for stoves).

  13. These programs were made possible through CFGB member contributions, Canadian government matching donations….

  14. $1.2 million in pledges from European funders…

  15. $341,000 in Gifts In Kind from aid agencies…

  16. And contributions from churches and individuals like you.

  17. What’s Next?

  18. Cash or Food for work - to rebuild roads, remove silt from fields, and build tertiary canals.

  19. Distribution of seeds, tools, and livestock to restart livelihoods.

  20. Building flood resistant homes

  21. Repairing latrines and restoring a fresh water supply.
