  2. Information • Mountain gorillas are critically endangered • They live in forests high in the mountains of Africa • Their diet is roots, vines, bark, berries, fruit and bamboo shoots also snails, slugs and insects • They don’t drink water

  3. Threats • Mountain Gorillas get trapped in traps meant for other animals • They have natural predator leopards crocodile • There is also logging and poaching for the gorilla's meat

  4. What’s Being Done • The WWF are teaming up with locales to spread the word to save the gorillas • They are talking to governments to set up protected areas

  5. How You Can Help • You can help by adopting a gorilla and saving one or two and that could help the progress a lot
