Membership and Volunteer Development • Building a very strong international volunteer base through • SIGMM-sponsored conferences/workshops (ACM Multimedia, NOSSDAV, MM&Sec, MIR, MMSys); • Publication Venues (TOMCCAP, SIGMM Records, Springer Multimedia Systems Journal) • SIGMM Committees (Executive Committee, Awards Committee, Workshop/Conference TPCs,….)

SIGMM Conferences ACM Multimedia - Premier Yearly Conference Approximately 300 papers submitted; approx. 16% accepted 100% SIGMM sponsorship since 2008 New Tracks Multimedia Human Interfaces Digital Arts Program and Exhibitions ACM NOSSDAV – 100% sponsorship since 1991 MM&Sec - 100% sponsorship since 2004 New Conferences ACM Multimedia Systems (MMSys) – 100% sponsorship beginning 2010 Multimedia Information Retrieval (MIR) – 100% sponsorship since 2008 CIVR – 50% co-sponsorship since 2007 ICDSC – 25% co-sponsorship since 2007 SIGMM in-cooperation with 4 events in FY’04; FY’05; and FY’06; 8 events in FY’07; 15 events in FY’08; 19 events in FY’09
