Introduction It is with a sense of immense pleasure and pride that the CMR Institute Of Management Studies (Autonomous) is unveiling the latest edition of its annual Management fest - Lakshya2012.Lakshya is about goals, aims. It is about first recognizing boundaries and then dismantling them, again and again in an ever-expanding, non-ending process. Trividhaliterally means three-fold; it stands for the mythical three-fold gate symbolizing the purity of the mind, the strength of the body, and the magic of words, Lakshya 2012 is, therefore, a test of talent that utilizes the power of the mind, and expresses itself through actions and words.So “Lakhshya 2012 -Trividha" is all about innovative events, events that will challenge your creativity and skills to the utmost. All of us at CMRIMS are set to raise the bar with a whole host of interesting and unique management games.. games that only the best will be able to crack. If you feel you arc up to the challenge, do join us for a truly memorable experience.CMRIMS seeks to carve a unique niche amongst the business schools and it is with this mission in mind that each of the “Lakshya 2012 - Trividha” challenges are crafted, so that the twin objective of "learning through doing” is met.

General rules and regulation • Participants must carry College ID cards. • Participants can register online [www.cmrimslakshya.com],for any further queries consult the respective coordinators. • Events are exclusively for MBA and PGDM Students only. • One participant can only participate in one event as all the events are conducted simultaneously. • Spot registration will be open for management event only on 23/11/2010 from 8:00am to 9:00am. • Registration for Fashion show closes by the end of Day1 • The institution shall provide boarding facility to participants outside Bangalore based on prior registration. • In case of any discrepancies and conflicts the decision of organizing committee will be final and binding to all. • All the Cultural Events ( SAANSKRUTIKA) are conducted on Day2.

  5. REGISTRATION The Registration Fee for the events are mentioned below • All managements events Rs.2,200. • All management events and Fashion Show– Rs.3,200. • Individual events Rs . 500. • Fashion Show Rs.1,500.

SAANSKRUTIKA MAD AD’s Rules and regulations • Number of participants per team should consist 6+2. • Maximum time limit should be 5+2. • All participants should adhere to the time limit. • Intelligent humour is expected out of the Mad Ads & indecent gestures are not allowed, Content should not include vulgarity, if found the team will be disqualified • The characters in the act should be fictitious and characters should not resemble any person, place. • Any materials are not to be used. SAANSKRUTIKA Fashion Show Rules and regulations • The Theme – ETHNIC [Remembering our culture]. • The teams shall comply with the given time limit allotted. • Maximum number of participants is 12 per institution, excluding the designer and choreographer. • The maximum time limit is 12 minutes, plus 3 minutes for stage setup. • Teams have to bring their own costumes and accessories. Use of hazardous materials like candles, lighters, cigarettes & alcohol are prohibited. • Sound tracks should be submitted to the DJ console 15 minutes in advance, in .wav or .mp3 format [192kbps or above] only by the form of compact disc. • Any form of obscenity shall be disqualified. • The decision of the judges and organizing committee shall remain final and binding in all.
