(1) Overview (概观) • Previous Week and Current Week: • May Meeting Recap (五月会议回顾) • Questions from May Meeting (遗留问题) • Next Week: • Optimization results with both KPIs as objective function (completion % and assembly readiness) (优化两个输出指标(工时达成率,成套率)). • Create a database of machines used by different critical steps. (建立关键设备数据库)

  3. (2) May Meeting Recap (五月会议回顾) • Improve prediction accuracy, decrease optimization time. (提高预测精度,减少优化时间。 ) • Output format include Gann chart, action list, material and labor availability, workload on individual machine. (输出格式包括甘特图,派工单,材料及人力的可用性,设备负载量 ) • Incorporate multiple purchase orders in neural network training. (处理多订单) • Analyze the influence of adding machine to KPIs. (分析增加设备对输出指标的影响 ) • Analyze and suggest the give scenarios (machine and material). (分析改变给予的情景对输出指标的影响(机器和材料)。) • Store all the scheduling errors in MATLAB instead of just the first seen scheduling error. (可行性分析中储存所有的排成错误)

  4. (3) Remaining Questions (遗留问题) • Completion percentage is more important in early stage while assembly readiness is in later stage. How to evaluate the weight percentage between when calculating sum of MSEs (currently we are dividing by two). (工时达成率和成套率平方差的比重) We will have some optimization results with both KPI’s for next week to evaluate the accuracy of the optimization algorithm

  5. Dr. Xu: Is it possible to generate the data by using feasibility code in order to get a better initial point for optimization purpose. (使用可行性分析编码来生成数据,以获得更好的优化初始点) At this point, the optimization algorithm is using the given schedule as a starting point. When we present our results next week, we will begin the optimization algorithm without giving it a starting point and then evaluate its run time

(3) Optimization of both KPI’s • The results presented in Mays meeting were based on just the Optimization of one KPI. • The final objective of the optimization algorithm is to create a schedule to increase both the completion percentage as well as the assemble readiness. 目前只针对工时达成率做优化,最终目标是生成一个最优的排程(高工时达成率和成套率) • For next week, we will work on using the optimization algorithm to optimize both the KPI’s

(4) Outlook for following weeks • Currently the optimization algorithm is trying to optimize a given schedule. • In the future, only the work orders will be given to the optimization algorithm and it will have to come up with an optimized and feasible schedule. (未来使用者只需要提供零件名称,软件会生成排程方案) • To do this, the optimization of the schedule will have to be done based on the machine available.

  8. The first step that needs to be done in order to achieve this goal is to create a database of the critical steps for each work order and the machines they utilize. (建立关键工序及设备数据库) • Next optimization algorithm needs to be tweaked so that it creates and optimized and feasible schedule based on the available machines.
