  2. What is HPC University? A Virtual Organization of people and institutions committed to preparing knowledgeable & skilled HPC professionals, researchers, educators, and students. Goal: Assess learning and workforce development needs. Assess requirements of a large and diverse computing community of practice. Define a roadmap for acquiring HPC competencies according to needs and requirements. Identify gaps to drive development of new HPC resources. Provides: A catalog of high quality, peer-reviewed training and education resources. A calendar of live and synchronous events. Resources for students, educators, and HPC practitioners. Access to resources and information world-wide. Responsiveness to community needs.

Who has Contributed? • TeraGrid Resource Providers • Computational Science Education Reference Desk (CSERD) – an NSDL Pathway • NCSA Blue Waters project • Multiple HPC Centers • PRACE • A neutral environment in which any and all organizations contribute and receive credit • We welcome contributions and participation by all interested organizations
