Part A: Instructions • Choose one of the following cycles: • Water cycle • Carbon cycle • Nitrogen cycle • Make your owndiagram of the cycle that you chose. • Your diagram must contain the following: • Add arrows showing the flow of energy from one part of the cycle to the other. • Depending on the cycle you choose, label the types and forms of carbon, water, or nitrogen at each step of the cycle. • Label the location or chemical reaction taking place at each step of the cycle. Student diagram example – You may use this as a reference, but must create your own original diagram.

  3. Name of the Cycle You Chose Paste the diagram of your cycle below!

  4. Part B: Questions Directions: Answer the following questions in complete sentences. 1. Briefly describe what is happening during each labeled step of your diagram. 2. What forms of energy are being transferred in your cycle? For example, electrical energy converts to chemical energy during lightning fixation.
