  3. Answer • The subject of a sentence is either past, present, or future tense; therefore the verbs need to reflect the tense of the subject in the sentence

  4. Explain • Today, my mom will ask you to call her back -Future tense (This will happen.) • Yesterday, my mom askedyou to call her back. -Past tense (This already happened.) • My mom asks that question everyday. -Present tense (This is happening now.)
