Students will acquire the knowledge, attitudes and interpersonal skills to help them understand and respect self and one another.

Students will make decisions, set goals and take necessary action to achieve goals.
Personal/Social Standard C
Students will understand safety and survival skills.

2 lessons per class, for 45 minutes each (total of 10 lessons delivered)
What to do when you are being bullied or see someone being bullied
Respectful versus disrespectful behavior
45 students (39%) could identify “I" statements
64 students (74%) could identify “I” statements
This is a 42% increase!
34 students (30%) strongly believed resolving conflicts respectfully is important
46 students (53%) strongly believed resolving conflicts respectfully is important
This is a 35% increase!
“There are a lot of ways to solve big problems and things would work out better if you worked things out with other people”
“The golden rule is to treat others the way you want to be treated”

Teacher misplaced post-test
Not same number of post-tests handed back as pre-tests
Test-taking skills: questions with “all of the above” responses
Small group counseling sessions and individual counseling will be used as intentional guidance for students with 3 or more red tickets (disciplinary method)
