  3. How do these questions help the reader? • Finding answers to text-implicit questions can strengthen the reader’s understanding of a text • Helps the reader to form new ideas about a topic

  4. How are these questions successfully answered? • Reader’s need to tap into their own prior knowledge and connect that to the text in order to answer these questions successfully.
