  2. -SON OF CRONOS AND RHEA -CRONOS DETHRONED HIS FATHER URANUS. THERE WAS THEN A PROPHECY THAT SAID CRONOS WOULD BE DETHRONED BY HIS SON ZEUS -ZEUS’S SISTERS HERA, DEMETER, AND HESTIA. HIS BROTHERS ARE HADES AND POSEIDON. THEY WERE SWALLOWED BY CRONOS IN ORDER TO END THE PROPHECY -RHEA HID ZEUS AMONG SHEPHERDS TO PROTECT HIM (MATERNAL ARCHETYPE) -LATER INTRODUCES ZEUS AS A CUPBEARER ZEUS

  3. -ZEUS AND RHEA PLOT TO FREE HER CHILDREN. THEY MAKE A POTION THAT MAKES CRONOS VOMIT UP THE NOW FULLY GROWN CHILDREN -CRONOS AND ZEUS DO BATTLE. ZEUS HAS HIS FELLOW GODS, THE CYCLOPS, AND THE HUNDRED HANDED ONES. CRONOS IS ASSISTED BY THE TITANS -THE TITANS FLEE BEFORE THE MIGHT OF THE GODS AND TAKE REFUGE IN DARK PLACES. -ZEUS BECOMES KING OF THE GODS.

  4. THE YOUNG GOAT-GOD PAN TOLD EVERYONE AFTER THE BATTLE THAT IT WAS HIS SHOUTS THAT DROVE OFF THE TITANS. THAT IS WHERE WE GET THE WORD “PANIC” FUN FACT!

CONSTANTLY MADE JEALOUS -ASSISTED BY THE OTHER GODS, HERA POISONS ZEUS, TIES HIM UP AND STEALS HIS THUNDERBOLT -BRIAREUS, ZEUS’S GARDNER, HEARS HIM STRUGGLING AND UNTIES ZEUS -ZEUS PUNISHED HERA BY TYING HER UP IN GOLD CHAINS AND HANGING HER IN THE SKY -HER CRYING KEEPS HIM AWAKE SO HE FREES HER. SHE SWEARS NEVER TO REPEATE HER MISDEEDS, THEY NEVER ACTUALLY TRUST EACH OTHER HERA
