Wide circulation of the document to benefit from discussion outside CIS process Keep the drafting efforts on hold until intercalibration and case studies deliver results (foreseen in late 2006 or early 2007) Review the document afterwards with particular emphasis on issues identified in current Chapter 6 Proposals (I)

Mandate the Steering Group to continue its work in order to, in particular: Monitor the progress of intercalibration, case studies and other activities Consider the possible inputs from the wider discussion of the document Prepare a short policy summary of the findings of the document to be presented and agreed by the SCG Prepare a proposal on how best to continue the activity to be presented to the Water Directors meeting under the Finnish Presidency (December 2006) Proposals (II)
