  1. Road to Ruin A presentation on the NAFTA Superhighway: Interstate 69

  2. The state needs roads, buildings, vehicles, information technology, surveillance and weaponry systems to function. Capitalism requires these same things for efficient movement of commodities and labor, and for resource extraction and exploitation. While these mechanisms have strengthened control and exploitation like never before, they have also created many weaknesses. The weaknesses are an opportunity.

  3. Infrastructure Projects as a Target Throughout the world, multinational corporations and trade organizations are damming huge rivers for electricity, ripping apart the earth to put in sprawling roads, tearing down forests to build factories, and exploding mountains to extract energy. People are resisting these projects as a way to deal a blow to capitalist globalization.

  4. Today, capitalist globalization permeates all borders, affects all people, and destroys ecosystems across the world. The areas filled in blue are places where WSA, a small infrastructure design company that is involved in I-69, has worked.

  5. Plan Puebla Panama (PPP) The PPP is a gigantic infrastructure aimed at the finishing the industrialization and NAFTA agreements of a large portion of Central and South America. It includes roads, dams, transportation ports, airports, biological corridors, and other projects.
