  2. PA/QA Status • Dr. W. Schmid started 01-Jan, replacing G. Igl • Improved common understanding, but still not satisfactory • ESTEC NCR system not really accepted • WE: For QM/FM FMECA, WCA, HSIA, FDIR should improve as now under industrial contract • CIDL/ABCL will be reworked according to agreed format • Overall FM schedule with MIP/KIP still missing • CIL has to be written • Agreement on FM EIDP layout needed soon PA/QA Status

PACS Status • Warm Electronics • DPU • 1553 I/F: Burst mode works with ILT EGSE, but not with CCS CDMU-DFE Under investigation • Telemetry packets corrupted after random time (checksum error): 1553-1355 interferences NCR: 19/11/04 • SPU • Compression ratio still too low Work in progress • DECMEC • Many problems (H/W and S/W): FPGA, SMCS-2 DECMEC back to CSL for final repair Very critical ! • BOLC • Problem with non-graceful switch-off Work in progress • WIH Ok! PA/QA Status

PACS Status II • FPU • Spectrometer Filterwheel • Could not be moved during cold ILT Problem found • Replaced by FM wheel, but without motor, in fixed position with ILT filter • Grating drive • Off-set of Zero position Solution for FM • Transformer box had to be added (at distribution board) to improve inductosync signal Solution for FM • Chopper • Envelope violation Solution for FM • Black Paint • Alodyne coating problem on two surfaces Paint removed from (paint peels off) several areas • No full qualification yet Critical! PA/QA Status

PACS Status III • S/C Interfaces • Problems with all three L0 flexible links NRB needed • PACS requests short circuit connectors for all FPU connectors during all phases of cryo harness integration Astrium to react • EMC Test Results • PhFPU not compliant to RS-H requirement Re-open RfW-004 • DPU CE DM + Current Ripple on power lines non compliant NCR raisedRfW • SPU CE DM + Current Ripple on power lines non compliant NCR raisedRfW • ESD test not part of ILT  part of EQM Project to react PA/QA Status
