Experience and discover • Our researchisbased on metropolitan France, 2012 • Unemployement: when a personis able and willing to work but does not have a job • Unemployment rate: 9.9%in metropolitan France • The mostaffectedcategoriesare women and young people: • Youthunemploymentrate for ages 15-24 is24.2%in metropolitan France • 82%of youngworking people are on temporarycontracts. • Unemploymentamong the educatedisgettingworsewhileemployers are crying out for computer technicians, electricians, plumbers and otherskilled labour. • 40% drop-out in the first year of university. Our solution • OUR PLAN OF WORK • Includeinternships: • 3 internshipson 3 differentschoolyears • 3 sectors • 3internshipwithpresentation in class • The possibility to do an internship in anothersector if theyfeelliketheyfailed the first. • Organize meetings witholderyoungadults: • 2 meetings withuniversitystudents • 15 students per meeting • 1 meeting withyoung entrepreneurs Follow-up withuniversitystudents.

  8. 8. Our solution MEASURES OF SUCCESS INTERNSHIPS Every high schoolstudent has the choiceof 1, 2 or 3 internships MEETINGS Every high schoolstudent has the choice of 1, 2 or 3 meetings and canchoose the subject. Small groups (15 students)

Our solution OUTCOMES • Lessstudentsdropping out during the first yearatuniversityor in high school • More highschoolstudentsknowingwhat type of job theywant to do • Highschoolstudentsbecome more aware of job opportunities and participate in decidingtheir future RESULTS The quantity of young people withdiplomaand/or withworkexperiencewillincrease and willbettermeet the needs of employers.
