  4. The First Dialogue • Find a device to serve multiple educational needs • Integrating textbooks • The obvious problems • Shrinking the backpacks • Finding a device portable enough for students to want to carry • Integrating teacher made materials into the device • Going Green

Refining Our Questions • How can we make teachers utilize their time with students in a better way? • How can we use the device to promote interaction between teacher and student? • How many tasks could we “jam” into a single device to make students and teachers want to use it? • If we were to dream, what would we hope the device could do? • The cell phone as a model: mail, web, calendar, etc.
