Success Tip #2 Know what to expect on the first day of class To meet for class--attendance counts To receive a syllabus To take notes **A syllabus is a document containing the following: Required textbooks, purpose of the course, course goals, assignments/due dates, grading policy, grading scale, etc.

  12. Success Tip #3 Be prepared for class Always be on time Complete assigned reading, etc. prior to class (use a planner!) Buy your books and take them to every class Keep a separate notebook/binder for each subject Make sure you have the supplies that you need for your class-paper, pen, etc.

  14. Success Tip #5 Understand the Role of your Advisor What is my advisor’s role? How do I find out who my advisor is? When do I meet with my advisor? How do I prepare to meet my advisor?

Student Records Drop/Add can occur only Within the first five instructional days of classes for the fall and spring terms, and During the first two instructional days of a 5-week summer course or a 7-week semester course and the first three days of a 10 week summer course **See Academic Calendar for session information**

  27. Student Records Withdrawals Students may receive a “W” up to 60% of the term. Deadline dates for “W’s” are posted on the Academic Calendar. Beyond 60% of the term, a final grade will be entered After the deadline, a “W’” will only be given in extenuating, non-academic circumstances such as a hospitalization, etc. Important dates are listed on the Academic Calendar. Students are responsible for checking the Academic Calendar

Tuition Information Tuition costs Summer • Instate (in county) = $118.00 per credit hour • Instate (out of county)= $131.25 per credit hour • Out of State = $268.75 per credit hour Fall • Instate (in county) = $121.50 per credit hour • Instate (out of county)= $135.00 per credit hour • Out of State= $276.75 per credit hour Ex. 12 hrs/4 classes(FT) x $118 per hr. = $1416.00

Beginning August 20th a $25 late fee will be applied.
