  2. Design Concepts Accountants Access • Objective: • Accountants are a key channel for new customer acquisition for Sage One. The purpose of the following changes is to improve the on-boarding process of accountants and move them from the sign up phase to the recommendation phase as quickly and effectively as possible. • Problems: • There are challenges with the sign up process, becoming familiar with Sage One, and being comfortable referring clients to use Sage One.  • Sign Up Process • Immediate access after sign up • Problem: • The current sign up process requires the accountant to either call into Sage or fill out an online form to apply for a Sage One Accountant Edition account. There can be up to 2 days delay between the application and approval. The accountant may have lost interest by this time, or may be focused on other aspects of their business and forget about completing their account activation. • Onboarding • Promotional code required to unlock Sage One Accounting Standard account • Problem: • Once an accountant activates their Sage One Accountant Edition account, they are also provisioned a Sage One Accounting Standard account for their own business use. We currently cannot entitle the account due to it being for an accountant. The accountant needs to enter in a promotional code to unlock the account for 5 years. If they do not unlock the standard account, they will be locked out of both accounts until they enter the promotional code. They do not know where the code is and they call in to support for help to unlock the account. • Referrals • Try/Buy Option for invitations to clients • Problem: • When accountant’s send invites to clients, they can only send an invitation for a trial of Sage One. Depending on the relationship with the client, the accountant would prefer to send an invitation to subscribe to Sage One. • Send email from accountant’s email address • Problem: • Once the accountant does invite a client, the client receives the invitation from a Sage One email address and not from their accountant. • Request demo/follow up call for client from sales agent • Problem: • Some accountants are not familiar enough with Sage One to provide a demo or walk thru to their client.

There can be up to 2 days delay between the application and approval. The accountant may have lost interest by this time, or may be focused on other aspects of their business and forget about completing their account activation. Solution: Allow the accountant to sign up for a Sage One Accountant Edition account and have immediate access to their account. They will be limited to being able to only invite 3 clients until approved by the Sage One Accountant Edition administrator. This is to mitigate phishing by the accountant for unsuspecting clients. 1. PDX recommends on the My clients page that we add language about allowing up to 3 client invites allowed until approved by administrator, same for the online form. 1

They will be limited to being able to only invite 3 clients until approved by the Sage One Accountant Edition administrator. This is to mitigate phishing by the accountant for unsuspecting clients. PDX recommends placing in the top black bar we mentioned what type of user you are. User Name (Accountants Access), User Name (Basic Access), etc… 2 2

Design Concepts Accountants Access Referrals Send email from accountant’s email address Problem: Once the accountant does invite a client, the client receives the invitation from a Sage One email address and not from their accountant. Solution: We should be able to provide the option to have the invite sent to the accountant and the accountant can then forward the invite using his or her own email address. PDX recommends in the subject line that the trial is coming from the accountant. In email put accountants name and business. Possible solution in the reply use the accountants email instead of noreplay@sagena.com. TH: need to check how it currently works. Because we have made some changes for “From:” and “Reply To” lines. This problem may be resolved already. 1

Design Concepts Accountants Access Referrals Request demo/follow up call for client from sales agent Problem: Once the accountant does invite a client, the client receives the invitation from a Sage One email address and not from their accountant. Solution: Accountants have indicated that they would refer sooner if they could request a Sage One sales agent to follow up with their client when sending the invite. We should provide an option to allow the accountant to request a follow up call for the client from a sales agent. PDX recommends adding a checkbox to the invitation form to follow up with Client. In the Email say a Sales Agent will be following up with you shortly. 1 I would like a Sage One sales advisor to call my client for a follow up. 1 2 A Sage One sales advisor will follow up with you soon.

Design Concepts Accountants Access ReferralsSend email from accountant’s email address Problem: Once the accountant does invite a client, the client receives the invitation from SageOne email address and not their accountants. Solution: We should be able to provide the option to have the invite sent to the accountant and the accountant can then forward the invite using his or her own email address PDX recommends adding a checkbox so the accountant receives a copy of the invite email. Additionally adding a pre-populated text field with their own email address. The accountant can change the email address if they wish or keep it the same. 1
