  3. Graphing! Now that you’ve seen the Scores in the tables, use your calculator to graph the points shown. Write down the window you used. Once you have graphed both sets of data, determine the lines of best fit for each set.

Answeres! • Window: • X-min = 1940, X-max = 2010, X-scl = 10 • Y-min = 0, Y-max = 900, Y-scl = 100 • Linear Equations: • Men’s – Year = 13.73x + 26660 • Women’s- Year = 10.71x + 20834 • Catching up? • Women will most likely catch up to men because the graph shows women’s points getting higher at a faster rate, but because of the outlier and the score change in 1972, the line of best fit is off! Although we are not sure yet due to science because human DNA is becoming an interest of modification.
