  1. Muslim Student Association (MSA) By Wazir Mohamed Usse

  2. purpose • To help Muslims on campus understand, appreciate and practice Islam as a complete way of life. • To promote brotherhood among Muslims. • To foster friendship & goodwill between Muslims and non- Muslims. • To take all non-profit steps to promote the above objectives. • To do dawah (Islamic speeches, teachings, actions and etc) among each other, and other non Muslims • To help the community and other organization in doing projects as volunteer • To organize meaningful events on campus

Plans for spring 2009 semester • Sign up for volunteer project in Atlanta and participate • Meet biweekly possibly Thursdays between 11:30AM to 12:30PM for Hadith (prophet teaching) sessions where all officers and members present short teaching of the prophet Mohamed (saw) • Discuss current issues of Muslims and what each one of us can do to help ourselves and others

CONTINIUED … • Organize Dawah (Islamic speeches, teachings, actions and etc) table presentation in UC • Watch videos of leading Muslim scholars occasionally • Culture day where all members brings different foods of their culture to enjoy lunch • Use MSA website frequently http://studentorg.clayton.edu/msa/website
