  1. Why 22 States Abolished Border Check Post for Cargo Transportation?

  2. With GST being implemented, 22 states have removed border check posts. The new tax payment method aims at easy shipment of goods within the country. How will it affect the cargo transportation services, let us read on. Call : 9156044824 / 0231-2620003 http://www.indiantransporters.in/

  3. The new electronic bill makes toll booths totally needless. According to the e-bill, transporters shipping goods worth over Rs.50, 000 will have to register their load with GSTN ( GST Network ) prior to hauling it. It will then generate an E-way bill which will be valid for one day of travelling for 100km and 15 days for more than 1000km of travelling. Call : 9156044824 / 0231-2620003 www.indiantransporters.in

  4. The government is still developing the entire required framework needed to generate a hassle free E-way bill. It is expected to be completed in six months’ time. To ensure that the transporters are not affected by unusual delays and the new rule is implemented, several states have sent out advisories to field officers. 5. According to a report by Times of India, Assam and Uttar Pradesh have asked their officials to check the GSTIN (GST Identification Number) along with tax invoice, consignment notes, invoice number and registration of the cargo transportation services firm until the E-Way bill comes into effect. 6. Through this initiative, the government aims at cutting the delays due to long queues of goods trucks at the state boundaries. This would often lead to unnecessary delays in delivering the consignment. It is estimated that around Rs.2,300 crore can be saved if the goods-laden trucks are allowed to go on time.
