  4. No one really believed this could happen, but the people in Japan know it can.

  5. Your Geographical Area Determines your Disaster Plan. • New England in Winter • Arizona in Summer Vs.

  6. What should I start with?Basics: Short Term Needs • Water • 1 gallon of water per person per day. • Minimum 3 day supply for your group. • Food • Minimum 3 day supply for your group. • Clothing • A full set of clothes including shoes. • Toilet Paper

  7. B.O.B. The Bug Out Bag Pre-filled bag, ready to go with no warning. Already has the basic survival items you need when life’s disasters hit. Have a bag for every member of the family.

  8. Have Bag Ready At All Times • Place clothing in large zip lock bags and press out air. This keeps contents small and protected from water. • Include Eye Glasses Repair Kit and Spare Glasses if you have them. • Include a whistle for signaling help. • Include cash for unforeseen items, like lodging. • Include a flash drive with a back up of important files and documents like insurance policies. • First Aid Kit with a reference book.
