MX – dependence of the diffractive cross-section at constant W

Mx 89-99

Q2ds/dMX shows a rapid variation with Q2

at low MX .

Q2ds/dMX tends towardsa common value

at higher MX .

Mx 00

This kind of scaling behaviour is reached

only at higher MX for higher Q2 when

MX2 becomes of the order of Q2 .
