Shakespeare’s Life • He was born to John Shakespeare and Mary Arden on April,23 during the 1500s. • He married Anne Hathaway in 1582. • His first daughter was named Susanna and was born in 1583. • His wife then gave birth to twins (1 boy and 1 girl). They were named Hamnet (boy) and Judith (girl). • His only son died when he was only 11. • They all lived in a house called “The Great House of New Palace”. • The “Globe Theatre” burned down during one of Shakespeare’s plays called “Henry VII”. • Shakespeare died in 1616 on his 52nd birthday.
