Vice President • Often times seniors are very busy depending on the classes they take their senior year • Jim Ehrig is replacing Catherine Mammoser as she has reported that she is too busy to perform her duties • A special thank you to Katherine for providing the corn stalks for the Fall District Meeting • The deer at Mrs. Nowicki’s farm are enjoying the corn

  4. Fundraising Committee • We need to find two fundraisers we can do as a club • One for Spring • One for Fall • If we could make $2,000 for each – we could eliminate the snack bar and daily work

  5. Fundraising Committee • Gretchen is researching the possibility of the club selling flower bulbs for Spring flowers • 50% Profit Margin • More information from Gretchen next meeting.

  6. HEART Fundraiser • February 4- 15 • Hamburg Eden Animal Rescue Team • Pledge fundraiser ($1, $5, $10) • Everyone should sell out their folder • This fundraiser helps prevent puppies and kittens from being abandoned on the side of the road • Please ask the teachers to donate (list located on your folder) • All folders must be returned with any extra sheets, and envelope

  7. Program of Work • EARTH. WIND. FIRE: PRESENTATION CHALLENGE • Alternative Energy • You should be in 3 groups: • Designers (POWERPOINT LAYOUT IS DONE!) • Kalie & Alex • Presenters • Lindsay & Gretchen • Researchers (DUE JAN 30) • Joe & Jimmy • THIS NEEDS TO BE PESENTED NEXT MEETING!!!!

  9. States (SLC) • April 10-12, 2013 • We’re leaving Wednesday at around 10 AM (2nd Period) • WE EXPECT TO TAKE A LIMO  • SECOND PAYMENT DUE FEBRUARY 25!! • People who are attending: • Jimmy, Joe, Brandon, Kalie, Lindsay, Gretchen

  12. Gift Basket for States • Make a motion to allow Mrs. Nowicki to spend up to $75 for a gift basket for states. • For scrapbook (minimum of $50) • Someone must second the motion • All in favor say aye • All opposed • Any abstentions? • So moved?
