ENC 1102 Agenda for feb. 26 • Daily Objective: To successfully complete a final draft of an essay using critical analysis as research • Daily Assignments: • Work on final draft of essay- due tonight at 11:59 pm (1A-using laptops; 3A, 4A- in Rm. 215) for 1st half of class • RLARS for 15 minutes • Begin poetry unit by reading “Those Winter Sundays” and writing a poem about a relative; you will share with the class your poem

Enc 1102 agenda for feb. 28 • Daily Objective: To appreciate the beauty and majesty of famous writers’ poetry in order to be inspired to write our own poems that will be just as awe-inspiring and thought provoking. • Daily Assignments: • RLARS for 15 minutes • Time to work on Reading Log (1A- using laptops; 3A, 4A- in Rm. 215) • Write a poem that is serious or comic which contains no more than two words per line OR write a monologue poem • Read: • “Ask Me” • “Doo Wop” • “Monologue for an Onion” • “White Lies” • “Comment” • “Making it in Poetry”
