  1. Kennywood Rides This Slideshow includes My favorite Kennywood rides and a little information about them.

Phantom's Revenge • The “Phantom’s Revenge” was originally named the “Steel Phantom”. • It was built in 1991. • After the 2000 season, the “Steel Phantom” had some changes made. • According to Kennywood, this was done because of riders’ complaints of how rough the ride was on their necks and heads.

  3. Jack Rabbit • This ride has been a favorite since 1921. • John Miller built the “Jack Rabbit”. • This ride is best known for its 70’ double-dip drop. • Riders must be at least 36’’ to ride. • Riders between 36’’ and 46’’ must ride with an adult.

  4. The Exterminator • The Exterminator is a high-speed roller coaster in the dark. • The individual cars twist as they travel on the twisting track. • The point of the ride is to become the rat while in the car,while traveling through the underground utilities.Also, trying to escape the enemy-The Exterminator.

  5. Thunderbolt • This ride has been rated “Ultimate Roller Coater” and “The King of Coasters”. • It remains on riders’ “top list of coasters”. • This roller coaster reaches up to miles of 50 mph. • You must be at least 52’’ to ride this coaster.

  6. Log Jammer • The Log Jammer was built in 1975. • This water ride has hollowed-out logs that travel through 1650 feet. • The ride includes two lift hills, a 27’ spill way drop, and a 53’ drop down the final chute. • Riders between 36’’ and 46’’ must ride with a responsible adult.

  7. Noah's Ark • Noah’s Ark was built in 1936. • This ride was re-themed several times. • Guests now go on an “adventure” to the famous Ark. • You ride in anabandoned elevator and drudge through the cavernous belly of the mountain it rests upon.
