  2. Excitement Is… Excitement is the minute you get out of the car, and smell the salty beach air, for the first time in what seems like years. Excitement is Christmas morning, under the Christmas tree where new presents wait for you. Excitement is the day school ends, and summer begins. When the sun shines and you get to hang out with friends.

  3. The Rain Is A Beating Drum The rain is a beating drum like the sound your heart makes when your excited. The rain is a beating drum it keeps in time with the Music. A steady beat. Like the sound of marching feet. The rain is a beating drum, it has rhythm, it’s a new kind of musician. The rain is a beating drum.

  4. The Statue of Liberty The ferry had just arrived. She was standing tall and proud. A new picture in my head. The tallest thing I’ve ever seen. This representation of liberty. My friend and I stared, my mom was in a daze, at this lady who represented the U.S.A. Imagine that me standing next to the Statue of Liberty.
