Wakefield: A Local Picture • Influx of EU citizens to local communities • A number of significant care home and financial investigations. • Two significant Police investigations into CSE with links to Bradford and Kirklees • Learning from local Serious Case Reviews highlight themes around information sharing and joint working • A diverse district with seven neighbourhood areas each with unique issues around social deprivation, housing, employment, education, crime etc.
