SBII Library Project - POC Goals • Analyze and compare bibliographic collections and circulation data • SUNY-wide • SUNY sectors, regions, and campus defined peer groups • Filter by subject, publication date, language, format, secondary format, reproduction type, target audience, government publication • Identify uniqueness/overlap among collections • Determine collection age and rate of growth • Analyze collection usage using circulation information • Analyze circulation activity by patron status

SBII Library POC Data • Aleph Bibliographic – to December 31, 2008 • 1,047,094 records • Aleph Circulation – 2006, 2007, 2008 • 809,099 circulation transactions • Six POC Campuses • 2 Colleges of Technology • 2 Community Colleges • 2 Comprehensive Colleges • Data extracted from Aleph servers at ITEC • Data schemas created by System Administration DBA • Data stored in OBIEE data warehouse in SUNY System Administration
