  4. The Mission of ASCP • Excellence in education, certification, and advocacy on behalf of patients, pathologists, and laboratory professionals

The ASCP Institute for Global Outreach (GO) • GO supports laboratory training and quality improvement for diagnosis and laboratory monitoring of HIV/AIDS patients in PEPFAR (Presidents Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief) countries. • The Institute’s activities are funded through a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention. • GO is tasked with strengthening health systems through capacity building • Go is focused on Clinical Lab Science

  8. Workshop Goal At the conclusion of this workshop participants will be able to perform phlebotomy procedures following International Best Practices and enhance the laboratory’s ability to provide accurate and reliable test results for all patients and clients
