  2. American What is American Sign Language? American Sign Language [ASL] is a system of hand movement that deaf people use to show words people speak. In 1817 Thomas Hopkins Gallaudet and Laurent Clerc taught the first school for the deaf in Hartford Connecticut. HEY!! Did you know there is more then one type of sign language [SL]? Also French made the first SL in the world.

  3. Different Types Of Sign Language There are many different types of SL! There is ASL, Black American, French, Bolivian, Ghanaian, Nigerian and francophone sign language. French SL is related to Dutch SL, German SL, Flemish SL and so much more!!

  5. Interesting Facts There was many interesting facts about SL!! ASL actually a mix of FSL, Village Sign Language and Hone Sign Language! Also in the year of 2014 there has been a estimate that 250,000 to 500,000 people in the world including children that use any type of sign language! there is many interesting facts and these are some.

Closing On this Power Point I showed you a lot, probably more than Dr. McGibbion knows about SL! I showed the alphabet, Interesting Facts, Different Types Of Sign Language and some more but most importantly I put in all the effort I can to make the best research project of third grade. I put in a lot of facts and these are all mine!! 
