Kandungan Kursus SINOPSIS: Kursus ini membincangkan fenomena-fenomena tingkah laku serta isu-isu di peringkat individu, kumpulan dan sistem atau amalan dalam organisasi merangkumi isu-isu seperti personaliti, sikap, nilai, persepsi, pembelajaran dan motivasi; dinamik kumpulan, komunikasi, kepimpinan dan konflik; dan reka bentuk organisasi, reka bentuk kerja, budaya organisasi dan perubahan organisasi. (This course discusses the behavioral phenomena and issues at the individual, group and the systems or organizational level involving issues relating to personality, attitude, values, perception, learning and motivation; group dynamics, communication, leadership and conflict; and organization design, job design, organizational culture and organizational change).

Tugasan 1: Reflection Paper • Assignment 1: Personal Reflection Paper • Due date: Week 5 • (15 points) • Overview: This paper is a 2-5 page individual response to what you think about organizational behavior course as it relates to you and your future/career. Grades are based on the depth of self-reflection and internal analysis. • Writing guidelines: Paper is 2-5 pages typed, with standard 1” or 1.25” margins, 1.5 line spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font. • Instructions: Your personal reflection should be both of these: personal (i.e., no two papers will be alike) and reflective (a chance to process what you’ve understood about organizational behavior in general, and about yourself and your future).

Tugasan 2: Application Paper • Assignment 2: Theory Application Paper • Due date: Week 10 • (15 points) • Overview: This paper is a 2-5 page on the application of any organizational behavior theories to your work/life. Grades are based on the depth of the analysis. • Writing guidelines: Paper is 2-5 pages typed, with standard 1” or 1.25” margins, 1.5 line spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font. • Respond to what you’ve learned about yourself and OB—Potential topics: How do you think the concepts that have been or will be covered in class relate to you (e.g., personality, self-efficacy, diversity/gender, listening style, desire or interest to work internationally, ethics, personal values, Theory X/Y, needs for power/affiliation/achievement, leadership ability… the list is almost endless). Provide specific examples on how do you think these concepts or theories are applied.
