  1. Getting Started in PT CPI Web A Student Overview Presentation by Academic Management Systems

  2. Logging into PT CPI Web www.ptcpiweb.org/login If you don’t complete the APTA training, you will NOT be able to login to PT CPI Web. Use the username and password provided by your academic program. If you forget your password, click here.

  3. Student’s First Login Be sure to update your information and complete the ‘Data Release’ statements in the ‘Edit My Info’ menu. You can not start the CPI until you complete the data release statements. Use the ‘My Message Center’ to send internal messages to your ACCE/DCE, CI and CCCE. All links and documents will open in a new window.

  4. Update Info Make sure all information is current and correct. The Data Release MUST be completed in order to start your CPI. Click ‘Save’ when you are finished.

  5. Opening a CPI To begin a CPI, click on your site’s name.

  6. Starting a CPI To edit the entire CPI at once, click on ‘Full Instrument View’. To edit one criterion at a time, click on the section name.

  7. Edit a Criterion Click on any underlined word to view the APTA definition. Enter comments here. Select your rating here. Click ‘Save’ when you are done. Check the section sign off to ‘Complete’ the criterion.

  8. Glossary Definition This is what an APTA definition looks like. You can view performance dimensions, anchor points and other definitions from APTA.

  9. Completing a CPI When all criteria have been marked as ‘Completed’, a new sign off feature will appear. You can edit any criterion marked as ‘Completed’ until you sign-off on the CPI. Mouse over the ‘Yes’ to preview your comments. Click on any ‘Evaluation Sign Off’ icon finalize your CPI.

  10. Signing off on your CPI Once you check the box and click ‘Save’, you CAN NOT EDIT YOUR CPI. Once you check and save this signature, the academic program will be able to view your CPI. Your CI will be able to view the CPI if they have completed their CPI.

  11. Viewing Completed Evaluations To view and compare CPI’s with your CI, go to ‘Full List View’.

  12. Full List View Use the drop-down filters to find a particular CPI. For a student side-by-side comparison, click on the ‘View All Eval Data’ icon in a CI evaluation row.

  13. Side-by-Side View Click the ‘Show/Hide’ link to show student and CI comments. Click ‘Return to List’ when you are finished.

  14. Signing off on your Students CPI Click the flashing ‘Sign Off Now’ icon to sign off on your student’s CPI.

  15. Signing off at MT or Final This sign-off indicates you have had a conversation with your CI about the CPI. Be sure to click ‘Save’ when you are finished.

  16. Adding Comments to a CPI To make final comments on a single CPI, click on the ‘View With Comments’ icon. You can only make comments on CPI’s you have signed off on.

  17. When You’ve Completed Your CPI… Be sure to Log Out when you are finished. When you’ve completed both the Midterm and Final of the CPI, you will show ‘No PT–CPI Evaluations Found’.
