  2. Training Item #1 Review ROC Order 7210.22B Procedures for handling controlled area intrusions at Rochester Tower. (Located in Roc Twr Orders & Notices binder in TRA & TWR)

  3. 1. Aircraft in Communication with Rochester Approach. • . Obtain call sign, type of aircraft, pilot name, and destination. • . Advise the pilot that he has violated Rochester class C airspace and a Pilot deviation may have occurred. Inform Sup/CIC. • . Sup/CIC call information to the RCC. • . Record on 7230-4 (daily log). • . Complete form 8020-17, Pilot deviation. • . Obtain and submit Personnel Statements of those directly involved in identifying the violator.

  4. 2. Aircraft not in Communication with Rochester Approach. • . Initiate a track using call letters, YAV1, YAV2. Etc. Track until the aircraft lands in our airspace or leaves our jurisdiction. A manual handoff shall be completed with the appropriate facility. Advise Sup/CIC. • . Solicit pilot or tower reports to determine aircraft type and color. • . If aircraft lands in ROC airspace, contact that airport for information. • . If aircraft should leave our airspace., await forwarding of pertinent information from adjacent facility. • . If ID is made, Sup/CIC inform RCC.

  5. . Complete form 8020-17, Pilot Deviation and Personnel Statements.G. Regardless of outcome, record information on Daily log.
