  1. PES University Bangalore PESIT was established in 1972 at Bangalore with only 40 students and is today focused on 4 main educational areas engineering, medicine, management & life sciences. PES University offers both foundation courses in these areas as well as specialization and awards Bachelor/Master/ PhD degrees. PES university combines years of experience in education with a unique curriculum along with state of the art infrastructure spread across 3 campuses in Bangalore & a 750 bed hospital in Kuppam, Andhra Pradesh, well qualified & responsive faculty with over 18,000 students spread across the 4 campuses. PES campuses are spread over 3.5 million square feet of built up area, the PES University campus spreads over 25 lush acres & PESIT South Campus is a part of a multi disciplinary University campus. All the classrooms have maximized light & space for students and provide access to the latest computing & research facilities. PESIT also boasts of cutting edge laboratories for medical students, fully equipped workshops for engineering students, secure hostels to provide on campus accommodation, modern cafeterias with excellent sports & recreation facilities provides each student an opportunity to explore & develop their potential. PESIT South Campus located on Hosur Road, Electronic City was started in 1988 as the first engineering college under the PES group of institutions and currently supports a community of over 1,500 students. PES college of engineering Bangalore offers the 4 year Bachelor of Engineering program ( B.E) in the following streams: • Computer Science & Engineering: The CSE program was started in 2005 & is recognized by AICTE & affiliated to VTU and has an intake of 120 students. The department has well equipped computer laboratories with over 300 computers to facilitate teaching, research & administration Electronics Communication & Engineering: The ECE Department of PES Engineering College boasts of well qualified teaching talent whose main focus is the teaching- learning with the right balance in research. Mechanical Engineering: The Mechanical Engineering department of pes institute of technology Bangalore has excellent faculty who carry both academic & industry exposure and the department alos offers expert lectures, seminars, group activities to inculcate group spirit.   2. Candidates can choose a program or a course check the eligibility & in order for admission in PESIT, they need to take the pesit entrance exam called PESSAT. Once students take up the PESSAT, candidates need to undergo a short interview on the same day in the campus & basis the confirmation from the college can enroll for their chose program/ course on the same day. Once the candidate receives the confirmation message, he/ she can refer to the PES university bangalore fee structure for each course to get admission in pesit college of engineering. For all BE undergraduate program, PESIT fee structure of Rs 90,000 p.a is fixed for PESSAT Merit Category A & Rs 2,80,000 p.a for PESSAT Merit Category B. PESIT South Campus will not require the pesit Bangalore entrance exam PESSAT tests, results of other Engineering Entrance exams like CET & COMED-K will continue to be used in this college as it is under VTU affiliation. For all other enquiries related to admission in PESIT, candidates can contact the PES admissions information Center ( AIC) from 9am-5pm, Monday- Saturday for all queries. PESIT placements PESIT Placements have been excellent across each year with over 38 students being selected with CTC packages of over 9.45 lakhs p.a , about 128 students earning 5.43 lakhs p.a , about 198 students being selected with average CTC of 3.33 lakhs p.a. PESIT South Campus placements have occurred across a wide cross section of product companies & others in the services space.
