  2. = Title I School = Located in a extremely transient area = Year-long World Language courses offered in grades 6-8 Racial Make-up of CCMS= 98.2% African-American .55% White .18% Asian .18% Hispanic .73 Multi-Racial

  3. This is how I felt about the technology available in my classroom when I began teaching. There were four computers in the classroom that did not work. A printer on the floor that was unusable since the toner had been discontinued. And a language lab that looked like it had been used by the dinosaurs.

  4. Now I have 3 working computers, a printer with toner and paper, as well as an amazing language lab that I use daily.

  5. Using the lab’s LCD projector, I use PowerPoints to introduce lessons, review lessons, play games, etc…

  6. Using the rolling set of laptops, students are assessed by creating their own PowerPoint in French.
