  2. Book Characters Katie- main character Mr. G- teacher Suzanne Lock- Katie’s friend Mrs. Carew- Katie’s Mom Pepper-Katie’s dog

  3. Setting In this book the story takes place mostly at Katie’s house and at Cherrydale Elementary. Cherrydale is Katie’s school.

  4. Beginning In the beginning, Katie and her friend Suzanne were in Katie’s living room at her house on Wayside Street. Suzanne came over to Katie’s house to have a play date but her mom said “first you have to do your home work.” Then they started to do their homework but then they began talking about school and their Nana’s. Katie was telling that her Nana sent her a website she made on all her adventures she had been on. Katie thought that was really cool and wonderful. Then Katie asked Suzanne what her Nana gives her or sends her. With an odd look on her face Suzanne said “all my Nana gives me is socks just plain old socks!!!!”

  5. Middle Suzanne asked Katie if she could do the website with her. Right smack dab there and then she did not know what to say. The reason why she did not know what to say was because if she had said no, Suzanne would yell at her. Then Katie thought it might be fun to do it with Suzanne. Then she said “Yes you can do the website with me.” “Katie! Katie! Thank you so much. Then what should we do the website on,” said Suzanne. “I think we should do it on animals,” Katie said. “No! we are not doing a website on that. I think we should do a website on fashion,” Suzanne said. Animals! Fashion! Animals! Fashion! They could not agree!

  6. End In the end Katie and Suzanne had still not started the website. The reason why they did not start the website was because they could not stop bickering and yelling at each other. On a Monday afternoon Katie was at school with Suzanne. Then Katie thought “I forgot to read that book Mr. G told me to read.” Right there and then she walked up to Suzanne and said “for a week or so I will not be able to work on the website. Is that okay?” Yes that is fine.” The reason why Katie could not work on the website was because she did not read the book like she was supposed to do. She did not have a long time to read it because next week the author Nellie Farrow was coming to talk to themabout that book and other books she had written. That day came and everyone was pilling into the gym. Then she started talking and something bad happened. The magic wind came and, switcherooed Katie into Nellie Farrow and Nellie Farrow into Katie.

  7. My Opinion This Katie Kazoo book was wonderful!! It had good detail and good explaining words to describe what was going on. This is one of the best books I ever red.
