  5. RE sources for domestics use • Solar lantern • Solar cooker • Solar heater • Solar RO plant • Compact Bio-gas

  6. RE sources for Agriculture use • Solar pump set for irrigation • Solar Cold storage • Solar drying, grading & packing • Mini wind mill for R.E

  7. Public institute • School, hospitals, & collages- lighting , heating & cooking • Street light in Govt. office, panchayat • Use of waste generated in temples, dhaba, hotels etc for bio-gas; solar lighting in these institutions • Solar lighting in Dairy & commercial

Implementation strategy • Awareness programme- street play, rally, small group discussion, IEC materials • Demonstration of proven technology • Exposure to existing RE initiatives • Interaction with existing users • Targeted stakeholders- women, children, management of institutions, PRI members • Behaviourchange workshops • Liasioning with govt. institutions • Networking and collective work of NGOs working with energy issues

Conclusion • There is a need to work for RE for energy sustainability and conservation of environment • Proven RE technology are available in market • Enough potentiality of RE is existing but people need to be encouraged and provide support for its use • CSOs has credibility and good rapport with community • CSOs are have strength to promote RE in a an effective manner
