Aim Methods • A scale was developed in this study • In order to assess the level of coordination of antenatal care services by FPsin Turkey • The aim of this presentation • To evaluate the reliability and validity of the scale • The scale was developedin fivesteps • Generation of an item pool • Expert panel • Questionnairedevelopment • 30 items, LikertScale (1= totallydisagreee; 5= totallyagree) • Pilot study • Factoranalysis, the scale was administered to 178 women • given birth in the last three months • lived in three suburbs of Izmir • 23.3% isn’tgraduatedprimaryschool • 36.1% has lowermonthlyhouseholdincomethan minimum wage

  4. Results • 30 items→ 2 itemswereremoved→ 28 items, 6 factors • The factors explained 66 % of the total variance • The Cronbach alpha value: 0.903 • MSA< 0,5, factorloading< 0,4 • KMO: 0,836, Bartlett's Test of Sphericitychisquare: 3106,47, Sd: 378, p: 0.000

Conclusion • Incountrieshavingmulti-headantenatalcaresystems • Instruments evaluatingcoordination of carehavespecialimportance • Thisscale is an attempttomeetthedeficitrelatedtoevaluatingcoordination • A reliable and valid tool which can be used in the assessment of the coordination function of FPs regarding antenatal care services
