Link to Intervention Seniors may take each eligible assessment twice. • Steps: • Fall-Receive College Ready Status file • Students receive intervention • First COMPASS® administration • Students who did not met benchmarks completed an additional intervention • Second COMPASS® administration OAA:DSR:js:pp: : 10/7/2013

  17. Intervention Provided Prior to Second Test Administration Additional Quality Intervention Provided Prior to Second Test Administration Based on Individual Student’s Needs Must be a minimum of five (5) instructional days between first and second administration OAA:DSR:js:pp: : 10/7/2013

Accommodations • All accommodations will be local, according to Individualized Education Plan, or 504 Plan. • No Large Print, Braille or Special Forms • All test and non-test portions may be completed with the use of projectors. Note: Computer adaptive test, not every student will have the same questions. OAA:DSR:js:pp: : 10/7/2013

  21. Test Security Protocols Locally • Follow test administration guidelines • Appropriate spacing between workstations • Observe students during testing KDE • Continuing with having an investigative unit within KDE to deal with inappropriate test allegations. OAA:DSR:js:pp: : 10/7/2013

Heightened Security Protocols • Students may test only TWICE • Offenders of this rule • First Offense • Written Warning to DAC • Second Offense • Testing System Turned Off for School • Appropriate Practice/Use Form Completed and returned to KDE before system reactivated • Third Offense • Testing allegation • Removal of individual(s) from COMPASS® system OAA:DSR:js:pp: : 10/7/2013
