  15. Christ, The Solid Rock My hope is built on nothing less Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness; I dare not trust the sweetest frame, But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.

  16. When darkness seems to hide His face, I rest on His unchanging grace; In every high and stormy gale, My anchor holds within the veil.

  17. On Christ, the solid rock, I stand; All other ground is sinking sand, All other ground is sinking sand.

  18. His oath, His covenant, His blood, Support me in the whelming flood; When all around my soul gives way, He then is all my hope and stay.

  19. On Christ, the solid rock, I stand; All other ground is sinking sand, All other ground is sinking sand.

  20. When He shall come with trumpet sound, O may I then in Him be found; Dressed in His righteousness alone, Faultless to stand before the throne.

  21. On Christ, the solid rock, I stand; All other ground is sinking sand, All other ground is sinking sand.

  22. I Boast No More No more, my God, I boast no more Of all the duties I have done; I quit the hopes I held before, To trust the merits of Thy Son

  23. No more my God, No more my God, No more my God, I boast no more.

  24. Now, for the loss I bear His name, What was my gain I count my loss; My former pride I call my shame, And nail my glory to His cross.

  25. No more my God, No more my God, No more my God, I boast no more.

  26. Yes and I must and will esteem, All things but loss for Jesus’ sake; O may my soul be found in Him, And of his right-eousness partake. Amen.

  27. The best obedience of my hands Dares not appear before Thy throne; But faith can answer Thy demands, By pleading what my Lord has done.

  28. No more our God, No more our God, No more our God, We boast no more.

  29. Jesus, I My Cross Have Taken Jesus, I my cross have taken, All to leave and follow Thee. Destitute, despised, forsaken, Thou from hence my all shall be.

  30. Perish every fond ambition, All I’ve sought or hoped or known.Yet how rich is my condition! God and heaven are still mine own.

  31. Let the world despise and leave me, They have left my Savior too Human hearts and looks deceive me, Thou art not like them untrue

  32. O while thou dost smile upon me, God of wisdom, love and might Foes may hate and friends disown me, Show thy face and all is bright

  33. Man may trouble and distress me, ’twill but drive me to Thy breast. Life with trials hard may press me; Heav’n will bring me sweeter rest.

  34. Oh, ’tis not in grief to harm me While Thy love is left to me; Oh, ’twere not in joy to charm me, were that joy unmixed with Thee.

  35. Go, then, earthly fame and treasure! Come, disaster, scorn and pain! In Thy service, pain is pleasure; with Thy favor, loss is gain.

  36. I have called Thee, “Abba, Father”; I have set my heart on Thee: Storms may howl, and clouds may gather, all must work for good to me.

  37. Soul, then know, thy full salvation; Rise o’er sin, and fear, and care; Joy to find in every station Something still to do or bear:

  38. Think what Spirit dwells within thee; Think what Father’s smiles are thine; Think that Jesus died to win thee, child of heaven, canst thou repine?

  39. Haste then on from grace to glory, armed by faith, and winged by prayer,Heaven’s eternal day’s before thee, God’s own hand shall guide us there.

  40. Soon shall close thy earthly mission, swift shall pass thy pilgrim days;Hope now change to glad fruition, faith to sight, and prayer to praise.

  41. Man of Sorrows Man of Sorrows! what a name For the Son of God, Who came Ruined sinners to reclaim. Hallelujah! What a Savior!

  42. Bearing shame and scoffing rude, In my place condemned He stood; Sealed my pardon with His blood. Hallelujah! What a Savior!

  43. Guilty, vile, and helpless we; Spotless Lamb of God was He; “Full atonement!” can it be? Hallelujah! What a Savior!

  44. Isaiah 53 He was despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief… …because He poured out His soul unto death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet He bore the sin of many, and makes intercession for the transgressors.

  45. Lifted up was He to die; “It is finished!” was His cry; Now in heav’n exalted high. Hallelujah! What a Savior!
