  2. INIS Input Submission Correct procedure how to submit • bibliographic data • PDFs to INIS

  3. Submission of files to INIS • e-mail • FTP server • CD-ROM • DVD

  4. Acknowledgement of Receipt • immediate acknowledgement by INIS via e-mail -from ‘INIS Input Box’ • if no reply within 3 days, re-contact INIS

  5. via E-mail • address: INIS.Input@iaea.org • number of records: no limit • frequency: as often as possible

  6. via E-mail Contents of the message Should include: • information about contents of input file • send input data files as • attachments

  7. via e-mail: separate files Send two separate files when the corresponding documents (PDFs or Hardcopies) for NCL input arrive later. • conventional literature(this file will be processed by INIS immediately) • non-conventional literature(this file can be processed only when the corresponding documents arrive in Vienna)

  8. via e-mail If sending Non-Conventional Literature: • include list of corresponding TRNs: Example: PDFs:XJ1100017 – XJ1100034

  9. via e-mail: identify files • Country name or code of your country • name of the input file • range of TRNs • total number of records Example: Canada CA1103.inp CA1100167 – CA1100304 138 records

  10. FTP: Logon & Upload Procedure • Log on to the INIS FTP server, address:ftp://inisinp:vienna@ftp.iaea.org • user ID: inisinp • password: vienna

  11. FTP: Logon & Upload Procedure • use the directory assigned to your country: example: /ftp/inis/input/ARncl /ftp/inis/input/PolandNCL • always send e-mail message to INIS.Input@iaea.org • notify about • the name of the input file(s) • directory where the file(s) is/are placed

FTP: Logon & Upload Procedurewith Windows Explorer • Open Windows Explorer and type in the Address field:ftp://inisinp:vienna@ftp.iaea.org • go to the directory where your input file is saved • select the file ready for submission to Vienna • click on Copy • or: USE ‘drag & drop’ function • go back to FTP site in your Windows Explorer • Click on Paste • click on ‘Refresh’ button to see the result (if not automatically shown)
