  6. Synergies (1st level) European Commission: • Make ETIS the reference for European transport policy data • Allow easy access to information • Ease the maintenance of data • Save budget in further projects by reduced data collection costs • Collate project‘s data output

  7. Synergies (2nd level) National institutions: • Collect confidential data in own domains • Make use of standard data formats and a proven technology • Use complementary information for framing the national data • Secure compatibility with European level

  8. Synergies (3rd level) Other organisations: • Needs to collect and maintain data? • Members can upload required data themself • Standardized interfaces and data model = reduced costs • Eased reporting and data extracting
