NCHSTE The National Consortium on Health Science and Technology Education (NCHSTE) is a national partnership of individuals and organizations with a vested interest in health science and technology education. Organized in 1991, its purpose is to stimulate creative and innovative leadership for ensuring a well prepared health care workforce. Primary strategies include fostering collaboration among educational agencies, the health care community, policy-making bodies, and labor.

National Healthcare Foundation Skills Assessment 100 Multiple Choice Questions Includes 5 beta test items that do not count towards student?s score Not Timed Immediate Results Feedback Registration Questions ? Remember: Garbage in, garbage out. The more effort that is used to make sure student information is entered correctly, the better the ability to match data (or import into another program). Students can only select one answer ? questions left unanswered are marked incorrect. Answers can be changed on any question until the SUBMIT button is clicked. The scroll bars at the side of the screen are used to navigate through the test. Once the test is submitted for scoring, the results are final. The test is not timed; however, most students should be able to complete the test within 1 hour. Within a few seconds of submitting, the student?s score and result will be displayed on the screen. Clicking on the link displays the student?s Coaching Report, which also shows how the student performed in each of the foundation skills.Registration Questions ? Remember: Garbage in, garbage out. 14. National Healthcare Foundation Skills Assessment Students who score 70% or higher will receive certification from NCHSTE that they have mastered the concepts, skills, and knowledge included in the National Health Care Foundation Skills
