Under my guidance, Prasino Restaurant (2013 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence) created a two-month summer program called “Champagne Bubble Patio” that featured Moet Imperial Rose, Ruinart Blanc de Blanc and Krug Grande Cuvee served by the glass! The Champagne Bubble Patio Program at Prasino Restaurant Program Chicago’s best patio destination and Wine Spectator Award of Excellence winner, Prasino Restaurant, showcased Moet Hennessy Champagne by the glass at their innovative Champagne Bubble Patio program. The Champagne bar was set up in the middle of a 130 seat patio which featured table and luxury lounge seating. Staff were trained about the Champagne ladder and Champagne first. Chef pairing packages featured caviar, oysters and seafood dishes with Ruinart Blanc de Blanc, Moet Imperial Rose and Krug Grande Cuvee for special prices on the menu. Social Media Visibility Great coverage from media outlets – Eater Chicago, Urban Daddy, Haute Life Chicago, Thrilist and Cheeky Chicago as well as numerous Twitter and Facebook impressions – “Prasino is offering glasses of any of the 12 Champagnes, and is one of the few places in Chicago you can get Krug by the glass (HOLLERR!). Over the last couple of months I added wine list placements of Cheval des Andes, Cloudy Bay Te Koko, Numanthia Numanthia and by the glass placements of Chandon Pinot Meunier & Terrazas Torrontes. Prasino is building on the Bubble Program for their next location in the heart of the business district of Chicago, River North. In the works is a Luxury Lounge that will feature a Champagne Bubble bar. Giventhe success of the Champagne Bubble Patio program, Moet Hennessy Champagne will be a big winner next year!
