  1. Vinyl Plastisols can be used in every major industry including automotive, agriculture, metal finishing, recreational, construction, tools, industrial belting, toys, novelties, filtration industry, fishing industry, military, caps, plugs, textiles, and more. Plastisols can be very versatile and can be formulated to meet a wide variety of physical properties and application processes. Some of the applications for Plastisol include tool handles, textiles, fabrics, metal finishing, outdoor furniture, PVC coated plating racks, clips, clamps, boat anchors, busbars, electrical Plastisol molding and coatings, metal closures, magnets, and more. Dip Molding Plastisol involves the process of a mold being heated and then dipped into a batch of plastisol. The item then gets stripped from the mold to form the finished product. This application can be used on caps, grips, plugs, Plastisol bellows, Plastisol gloves, sleeves, busbar boots, closures, Plastisol seals, and vibration components. Laminating / Fabric Plastisol involves several types of plastisol’s which are accepted to laminating and coating fabrics. This Plastisol application is particularly good for industrial PVC belting, curtains, Tarpulins, tents PVC coatings, artificial PVC Plastisol leather, wallcoverings, PVC Plastisol coated scrim. Other processes used for Plastisol include cold dip Plastisol, slush molding Plastisol, rotational molding Plastisol, cast molding Plastisol, and open molding Plastisol. Cold Dip Plastisol is a process of a product being dipped into a batch of plastisol. The dipped product then goes through an oven to cure or fuse the plastisol onto the item. Slush Molding Plastisol is a process used to produce hollow, flexible products by filling a mold with plastisol. Heat is then applied fusing a layer of plastisol inside the mold. Rotational Molding Plastisol is a process of making hollow, flexible, or ridid products using a two-part mold. The mold is filled with plastisol, heated, and rotated to form the final product. Cast Molding Plastisol is the process of dispensing plastisol into a mold then heating it so that the plastisol fuses into the finished part. And lastly, Open Molding Plastisol is the process of molding plastisol onto or into a finished product. All of these processes are done by PolySol LLC.
