  2. La adicción al sexo, también conocida como hipersexualidad o satiriasis, es un trastorno de la personalidad que se contempla cada vez más en la psicología. El uso del sexo como sustituto de las relaciones sanas con los demás, es un síntoma del desorden adictivo sexual.

  3. SÍNTOMAS • La persona que lleva una vida sexual activa está satisfecha consigo misma, algo que no ocurre con el adicto. Éste carece de control sobre sus actos a pesar de que su conducta le acarree sentimientos negativos.

  4. TRATAMIENTOS • El primer paso hacia la sanación consiste en adquirir consciencia de que el problema es real y afecta e interfiere profundamente en la actividad diaria. Hay que buscar el apoyo de los profesionales y, sobre todo, de los grupos de ayuda.
