  2. Native Mexican Child’s Christmas 2009 ¿What does Rotaract means? Rotaract it’s a service club formed by people between 18 and 30 years old this club belongs to Rotary International club. Within the club we create activities and ideas focused on social issues that affect our communities, promoting at the same time peace and empathy in a brotherhood environment. Year after year Rotaract club from 4130 district, that belongs to Nuevo León, organize NNI

  3. Native Mexican Child’s Christmas 2009 ¿What does NNI means?? NNI, is a Christmas party organized in the rural community. As part of our activities we provide them with groceries, books, blankets, candy, toys, hygiene articles, etc., this activity will benefit them and bring some joy to more than 300 children and their families. This year on December the 4th, 5th and 6th we celebrate the NNI XV edition, this will be taking place at the community of San Pedro de las Anonas, Aquismón, in San Luis Potosí, home of the ethnic group Tének.

Native Mexican Child’s Christmas 2009 San Pedro de las Anonas has 7,890 natives, this place with its neighborhoods and farms and close communities are managed by the local governor, who, asked for support in order to help the elementary school Esfuerzo Indígena register key 24DPRE1867N, which was built by the people of this community so their children could have education. Actually the school has 480 students, the principal of this school, Petra Rodríguez Castañeda, explained that what the school really needs is the construction of a library, as well as, Books, water containers, and drinking fountains.

Native Mexican Child’s Christmas 2009 One of the biggest health issues among our ethnic community at San Pedro de las Anonas is the level of malnutrition that the little ones have, consequence of poor and unsettled diets due lack of enough food in the growth phase of the kids; because of this, we took the decision of collect basic needs groceries for NNI activity, so the kids can have at theris houses at least a basic but stable alimentation for the season. At the same time we’ll look forward to have a contract with the government of the state to create a benefit program and work directly with nutrition specialist and local enterprises so after our visit can help the community by providing accessible prices so they can cover their needs. Together Government, Rotaract, Enterprise and Society can fight for the improvement of the life conditions of Mexican children.
